On October 19, 2017, Merko Ehitus awarded its best co-operation partners in Estonia. The winner was SA.MET, which was selected by Merco’s project teams as the best partner in Noblessner’s quarter, Tartu mnt 52 residential complex and Tapa barracks facility.<\/strong><\/p>\n Merko Ehitus traditionally recognizes its best cooperation partners in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. A total of 180 partners took part in the campaign in Estonia, of which 11 were nominated. The grand prize was a two-year free use of a Toyota Hilux, provided by Merko’s long-term cooperation partner Toyota Baltics.<\/p>\n “The winner, SA.MET, has been our partner for around 15 years in projects like KUMU, Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel, Tondiraba J\u00e4\u00e4hall, Tallink and Tallink Spa, as well as various office buildings and apartment buildings,” said Jaan M\u00e4e, member of the management board of Merko Ehitus Estonia.<\/p>\n “We are grateful to Merko for its long-term cooperation and trust. The fact that such a large and well-known partner recognizes us is additional quality label for our company, “said Janus Metsa, CEO of SA.MET.<\/p>\n “The Merko Award for the best co-operation partner is very much appreciated by us, especially since the competition was very strong,” said Raivo Lipping, project manager of SA.MET, and the company\u2019s main contact person on Merko’s projects. “To be able to use a Toyota Hilux for free for two years is a real gift for our construction company, and its practical features and optional equipment are perfectly suited to our day-to-day work,” added Lipping.<\/p>\n In 2017, each project team of a Merko building site in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania selected the best co-operation partners for the quarter, publishing their names on the campaign’s website. In Estonia, 180 companies participated in the campaign, of which 66 were selected as the best of the quarter by site teams.
